About Us

We believe that helping people understand and anticipate how social interactions drive behavior will lead to stronger social bonds and deeper engagement.

Our Story

Know who matters in your system: patented network influence analytics for targeting, retention, and spending.

While Ninja Metrics is new, the team behind it is not. Since 2007, our team has run the world's leading research project in the multi-disciplinary area of computational social science, the VWE Observatory. Having received rigorously competitive funding from federal agencies including the National Science Foundation, the Air Force, the Army, and others, Ninja Metrics brings to market the most sophisticated and powerful technology for social analytics that exists today.

One of the unique aspects of the Ninja Metrics team is its group of world class social scientists, game experts, and computational scientists with expertise in AI and machine learning. This has enabled the development of social analytics technology that combines deep social science theories with cutting edge machine learning to develop high accuracy predictive models for human behavior. Ninja Metrics has filed a number of patents on these technologies.

In addition to cutting edge knowledge in games and technology, the Ninja Metrics team brings significant experience and expertise in the building and deployment of scalable software systems. This enabled us from the very start to work with full-scale commercial game vendors, who generate terabytes of data per day. The result is the Katana Social Analytics Engine, an ultra-scalable, cloud computing-based social analytics platform behind some the biggest games on the market.
